FAIRFIELD, Calif. ? December 14, 2012 ? Bay Area native and longtime rapper E-40 and his wife, Tracy Stevens, have been committed to giving back to their community?s children. Last year, the famed rapper surprised the clients of Aldea Children & Family Services? Treatment Foster Care and Adoptions program with an appearance at their holiday party. Due to a schedule conflict this holiday, the couple is donating one thousand dollars to Aldea?s Treatment Foster Care and Adoptions program. The funds will be applied toward purchasing 100 ten-dollar McDonalds gift cards to give to program clients at their annual holiday party.
Aldea provides premier treatment foster care services to children and youth. Treatment foster care serves vulnerable children who are removed from their birth families due to abuse, neglect, or emotional disturbance. Aldea-trained foster parents provide a safe nurturing home where these young people can begin to heal.? Social workers provide intensive clinical case management,? home visits, clinical assessment, treatment planning, 24-hour crisis response, reunification services, and training for foster parents.
Aldea also provides adoption services . The program provides matching services between children in foster care who need an adoptive home and adopting parents who are searching for a child to adopt. Aldea recruits and trains prospective adoptive parents and provides support during the placement and adoption process. Aldea?s goal is to ensure that every child has a forever family.
